The Blackwood Chamber Business Excellence Awards celebrate the hard work, innovation, and dedication of local businesses across the Shire of Bridgetown–Greenbushes. Now in their inaugural year, these awards are your chance to recognise the businesses that make our community thrive.
The awards are open to all businesses operating in the Bridgetown–Greenbushes region and surrounding areas — you don't need to be a Chamber member to be nominated or to vote.
Community members nominate and vote for their favourite businesses in one simple step. You can vote in as many categories as you like — one vote per category per person. One vote per category per email helps keep things fair.
The official Launch Event hosted by the Blackwood Chamber, featuring announcement of categories, networking with local businesses, and media and promotional activity.
All valid votes are tallied to decide the final results.
Finalists in each category are announced, based on the number of valid votes received. The number of finalists per category is determined at the discretion of the Chamber.
Winners are announced at the Gala Awards evening at the Bridgetown Town Hall. Tickets are required to attend. Further event details will be announced closer to the date.

The Gala Awards Night is the highlight of the awards program, where finalists and winners are celebrated in front of the local business community. Attendance by finalists is encouraged — a representative may attend if needed.
This is a fully community-voted awards program. The business with the highest number of valid votes in each category wins. In the event of a draw (tied votes) in a category, both businesses are declared the category winner and presented with an award each. The Business of the Year award winner is determined by the Chamber from the eight category winners; an interview may be required.
It's one vote per category per email address. Entry is free, and owners, staff, and customers are all encouraged to participate. The Chamber reserves the right to investigate any suspicious voting activity to maintain the integrity of the awards.
