When do nominations open?
Nominations and voting open on 6 August 2026, launched at an official Awards Launch Event hosted by the Blackwood Chamber.
What is the Launch Event?
The Launch Event marks the official start of the Awards and voting period. It will include announcement of award categories, opening of nominations and voting, networking with local businesses and community, and media and promotional activity.
When do nominations and voting close?
Voting closes on 3 September 2026.
Is this a nomination or voting process?
This is a one-step process. Community members nominate and vote at the same time.
Who can be nominated?
Any business operating in the Bridgetown–Greenbushes region and surrounding areas.
Can a business be nominated in more than one category?
Yes. Businesses can be entered in multiple categories.
Is there a cost to enter?
No. Entry is free.
Can I nominate my own business?
Yes. Owners, staff and customers are all encouraged to participate.
Do I need to give a reason for nomination?
No. This is optional.
When are finalists announced?
Finalists will be announced on 24 September 2026.
How are finalists determined?
Based on total votes received in each category.
How are winners determined?
The business with the highest number of valid votes in each category wins.
Are there judges?
No. This is a fully community-voted awards program.
When is the Awards Night?
The Gala Awards Night will be held on 17 October 2026 at the Bridgetown Town Hall.
Do finalists need to attend?
Attendance is encouraged. A representative may attend if needed.
What do winners receive?
A Business Growth & Recognition Package including: trophy and certificate, Chamber promotion and media exposure, inclusion in marketing campaigns, sponsored prize package, and eligibility for RCCIWA Awards (Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry).
Are there prizes for voters?
Yes. Local voucher prizes will be offered.
How can businesses increase their chances of winning?
By encouraging customers and community to vote from launch day onward.
